 Arash the Archer

Pointing to the ancient legends in Iran, during the time of King Manouchehr Pishdadi, a severe war happened between Iranian and Tooranian. Eventually the kings of two regions accepted to send an archer to the peak of a mountain to shoot the arrows of their arches and so the place of the landing arrow will be the border of two regions.

Among the Iranian archers, Arash was volunteered to shoot from the peak of the Mount Damavand to the farthest possible point. With his faith, love, endeavor, and prejudice this arrow was flying through the air during a whole day and finally landed adjacent to the Amoo Sea on the shaft of walnut tree. From that time the landed point of the arrow became the border of Iran and Tooran, but our hero “Arash the Archer” that had used all his power to shoot the arrow died sadly after this event.
