Minute of the meeting:

1-       Presentation of the function of the Islamic Federation of women Sport after  the 11^th  general assembly (Malaysia, 2007-10-27/28) by the chairperson

2-       Discussing the Calendar of activities of  IFWS in 2008

3-        Presentation of a report on a consultation with a university on the held of a round of competitions in disciplines including: Badminton, Volleyball,  Fencing, Chess and Billiard, under the name of the Competitions of IFWS by the Chairperson of the Committee

Then they discussed about the:

1-  Methods of cooperation between the members of the IFWS and NOCs of member countries

2-  Techniques of improving the Club Competitions

Approvals:

1-       Proposition of changing the name of Federation to “Islamic Federation of Women In Sport”, which expresses the role of Muslim Women in the improvement of the Federation’s action

2-       Pursuing continually the completion of Registration Form for Profile of the Technical Cadre of the specialist women from the NOCs of the member countries

3-       Stressing the role of Media and Marketing Committees for the absorption of financial support for the activities of the Federation

Approvals:

• Sending the approved agenda for the year 2006 of Technical Committee to the members of this Federation
• Decision making for enhancing the contribution in the Technical Committee for the execution of Coaching and Refereeing Courses
• Organizing Sport Management Courses in Indonesia – Year 2006
• Organizing different sport competitions in the member countries for the year 2006 in Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, Futsal, Table Tennis and Athletics
• Organizing Sport competitions among different Clubs of member countries, in order to improve the level of professional sports, attracting the contribution of non-governmental organizations and reduce the governmental expenses
