The 11th General Assembly of IFWS
The 11th general Assembly of IFWS was held in Kuala Lumpur On 28th and 29th October 2007, under the auspicious of Ms Dato Azalina Bent Othman, the Minister of Youth and Sport of Malaysia.
This assembly was held with attendance of 61 representatives from Ethiopia, Algeria, United Arab Emirate, Afghanistan, Australia, Jordan, Brunei Darussalam, Oman, Iraq, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sudan, Pakistan, Qatar, Iran, Malaysia, Egypt, Kuwait, Syria, Algeria, and Tajikistan, and also representatives and delegations from international organizations including Global Sport Partner (GSP), Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF), Islamic Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Asian Women Working Group (AWG), International Women Working Group (IWG), and Islamic Azad University.
Islamic Federation of Women Sport in that meeting appreciated the members who have caused improvement of women sports in their countries and have provided development of this federation's activity by their activities under the name of “active members”.
