TRAINING COURSES BY-LAW 
Islamic Federation of Women Sport
 

The Sport Development and Improvement Committee of IFWS has hereby undertaken the compilation of this By-Law with the kind contribution of the Technical Committee of IFWS on the basis of its work description and due to paragraph B of article 29-3 written in the statute of IFWS; for the purpose of establishing an identical method for organizing Training Courses to improve the scientific level and technical knowledge of women in executive, managerial, technical and medical fields.

This By-law has been collected by The Sport Development and Improvement Committee of IFWS in 4 articles and 3 notes on 20/07/2002, which was observed by the members of the Executive Board in the 9th General Session in Baku dated 04/11/2002, and finally approved in the General Assembly of IFWS on 14/10/2003 that shall be put into force from that time.

 

 

Article 1: Objectives

1-1  Empowering women in different managerial, technical and executive fields.

 

1-2 Training specialists in different sport disciplines, regarding to the international  

Standards.

 

1-3 To educate instructors in sport arenas for organizing training courses.

 

1-4 Improving the managerial skills of managers for female’s sport organization in

member countries.

 

1-5 Coordinating and equalizing the theoretical and practical courses for training female specialists and experts in member countries.

 

 

Article 2: Solidarity Training Courses

These courses, which are held in all levels and different fields, include:

2-1 Refereeing Courses

 

2-2 Coaching Training Courses

 

2-3 Sports Medicine Course

 

2-4 Sport Management Courses

 

2-5 Courses for educating and training sport instructors

 

2-6 Refreshing clinics in all the above mentioned

Note 1: Other training courses that are not listed here will be held by IFWS under the requirement of member countries.

 

Article 3: General Rules

3-1 Training courses are held upon the request of the member countries and approval of the Federation.

 

3-2 The Federation shall select the instructors from the specialists in the related fields, and in accordance with the principles written in this By-law.

 

3-3 IFWS will determine the theoretical and practical syllabuses of training courses in contribution with the related committees.

 

3-4 At the end of each course, participants should take part in the final evaluations.

 

3-5 All the participants in training courses shall be given a certificate of participation and those who finish the courses successfully shall be granted the related specialization certificate.

Note 2: The President of IFWS, instructor of the course and the highest responsible person in the organizing board of the host country, will sign the certificate of participation.

3-6 The number of participants and training hours are determined in accordance with the directives issued by the Federation and the international standards.

 

3-7 Training courses in member countries shall be national, continental, regional and international.

 

3-8 The number of the representatives from member countries to take part in the training courses shall be determined on the basis of the allocated quota by IFWS.

 

3-9 The Islamic Federation of Women Sport can dispatch an observer to supervise the way of conduction during the training courses.

 

3-10 The Islamic Federation of Women Sport and the host country will determine the language for training courses.

 

 

Article 4: Expenses

4-1 The host country shall be responsible for the costs of the course including             food, accommodation, local transportation, training aids and materials, the stipend for the executive staff and so on.

 

4-2 The host country shall have the liberty of collecting entrance fees from the participants upon Federation’s approval.

 

4-3 The Federation shall be responsible for the transportation and instruction fees of the delegated lecturers and instructors to the training courses.

 

4-4 Participants shall pay for their travel fees to and from the host country.

Article 5: Coaching and Refereeing Training Courses

5-1 Coaching and refereeing training courses will comprise of level 1, level 2, and level 3.

         

5-2 Conditions for obtaining coaching and refereeing certificates:

5-2-1 continuous attendances in the theoretical and practical sessions

5-2-2 They should pass the final examinations successfully.

 

 

Article 6: Other Training Courses

6-1 The conditions for participation and getting the certificates in these courses are determined under the directives issued by the Federation.

 

 

Article 7: The Instructors

7-1 The Federation will elect the instructors for training courses in different levels and fields, among the specialists in that arena and based on the requirements of each course.
